We invite you to come out on Wednesday Evenings for Discipleship Harbor.  Discipleship Harbor was created to assist our church body in connecting with each other, growing in faith and serving the Lord.

In 2 Peter Chapter 3 we are called to "grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ." Each of us has different growth needs at different times.  At times we need to secure our "Anchors of Faith," prepare to be a "Beacon of Hope" for others or just dock at "Pier Agape" and learn the love of the Father to help guide us through the Christian life. Discipleship Harbor provides a variety of 12-week classes on Wednesday nights.  Please select the class that interests you most. Each 12-week session ends with a worship night.

Most classes can be entered at anytime (especially the book of the Bible class) or will be repeated if under demand.

Genesis - Declaring the End from the Beginning:

The secret of the Lord is with those who fear Him, and He will make them know His covenant. A study in Genesis, the Book of the Beginnings, will provide a deeper understanding of God’s Word and further your knowledge in seeing the end more clearly. Instructor: Scott Haynes

 

Whole Bible Survey - Part 2:

Understanding the New Testament is a daunting but exciting task. Our world is so different from that of the first century. Yet it is important to understand the context and content of the New Testament if we are to be faithful followers. Join Pastor Austin through this powerful and rewarding survey of the New Testament, which tells us of Jesus’ death on the cross on our behalf - and what our response should be to His death. The New Testament focuses on giving solid Christian teaching along with the practical results that should follow that teaching. Instructor: Pastor Austin Araki 

Kingdom Man:  

When a man follows the principles of biblical manhood, those around him benefit from his leadership and care. Kingdom Man challenges and equips men to fully understand their position under God as well as their position over what God has given them. The biblical definition of a man is one who has learned to operate under the authority of Jesus Christ while carrying out responsible and legitimate leadership within the sphere of influence that God has placed him. Kingdom Man, from Tony Evans, provides concepts men can follow that will help them to actively pursue ways to maximize and develop the character qualities of biblical manhood in their lives. Instructor: Pastor Bob Fukui (Workbook Recommended $10)

 

Kingdom Woman:

A kingdom woman gives the devil as much reason to fear as a kingdom man. She lives confidently in the knowledge that Christ died and rose for her so that she can experience the significance of the destiny to which she has been called.  Tony Evans and his daughter, Chrystal Evans Hurst, remind women of their calling from God to be free, delivered, healed, and hopeful. The authors bring insight that encourages women to correct distorted perceptions and understand who they really are in Christ―never settling for less when connected with the One who gives them hope. All believers are covered by God’s covenant with Abraham. Evans and Hurst want women to know these rights and confidently claim and live by them.
